The seminar was opened by Director General Elisabeth Roderburg from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, followed by speeches by the three State Secretaries Raymond Johansen (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Rikke Lind (Ministry of Trade and Industry) and Heidi Sørensen (Ministry of the Environment).

- It has been the Government’s ambition to try out a new model for our contribution to economic and social cohesion within the EEA-area, stated State Secretary Raymond Johansen. – Not only do the Cooperation Programmes provide a new platform for bilateral cooperation, the consideration for solidarity and social justice is very well supported, he concluded.

In addition to presentations of the Norwegian Cooperation Programmes and the EEA Financial Mechanisms, participants from private and public companies, institutions, ministries, non-governmental organisations and social partners met advisors from Innovation Norway, the Ministries and other Institutions in 10-minute speed meeting sessions.
