The first meeting took place on November 9, 2011 at the HQ of the new Ministry of European Affairs. The talks where carried out between the two governments –Romanian and Norway and representatives from Financial Mechanism Office (FMO) Bruxelles.

The meeting focused on the timing of negotiations for those areas that are considered relevant for Romania and will receive assistance. Also, financial allocations for each area has been addressed during the meeting and a final conclusions will be drawn in the first half of 2012.
