LO Norway in its first joint project with Romanian and Bulgarian partners – improved focus on health and safety in the workplace through strengthened social dialogue.

 
In 2007 LO Norway (http://www.lo.no/)  established a H&S project under the Norwegian Cooperation Program administrated by Innovation Norway in Romania and Bulgaria. In January 2009, Innovation Norway awarded grants for both projects, and by June 2009, the activities started in both countries.

Collaboration with Bulgarian Black Sea Coast

The Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Municipalities in Norway (KS) collaborates with the Union of Bulgarian Black Sea Local Authorities (UBBSLA) on Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy and Reduction of Greenhouse Gases. The Bulgarian municipalities of Bourgas, Varna and Dobrich are participating in the project. Norwegian municipalities from Sør-Østerdalen and Arendal will also contribute to the project.
